MANY OF US HAVE DEVELOPED WAYS TO SABOTAGE OURSELVES WHEN WE ARE DIETING. SEE IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SCENARIOS PERTAIN TO YOU:
1. Many of us practically starve ourselves before we are going to a restaurant. This is not a smart move, as we usually tend to be led into temptation and eat hundreds of extra calories.
2. Eat foods that you enjoy that are right for you. NOT JUST WHAT YOU CRAVE. The 'greedy stomach makes demands'. It might start coercing you to consume one cookie after another before your noon meal. It also may talk you into eating 3 hot fresh biscuits before your dinner at Red Lobster.
3. When is the right time to start a diet? Before Mother's Day..After a vacation...After your birthday..Because you are invited to a family wedding..Because the doctor warns you about poor health...My answer is:'none of the previous reasons.'
