LOSING WEIGHT CAN BE A DELIGHTFUL CHALLENGE AND AN EDUCATION IN LEARNING HOW TO KEEP THOSE EXCESS POUNDS OFF FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. THE FOLLOWING HINTS WILL HELP YOU STAY FOCUSED:
1. Eat foods that you enjoy that are also right for you. They must be those that will not coax you to overeat. Stop equating losing weight with hard work. Start thinking .."A new way of life; a healthy happy way of eating."
2. If you do not care for salads, try to make it a rule for you to eat cooked or raw vegetables almost every day. They are so very healthy for you. Roasted vegetables are one of my favorites and are very easy to prepare.
3. Fifty percent of the population is overweight. If that figure sounds exaggerated, visualize your neighbors, people walking down the street, your relatives, etc. Many others do not appear to be overweight, but they are not satisfied with those extra 10 pounds.
WORDS OF WISDOM
Don't waste any more days and years wishing and hoping to lose weight. Keep food out of your house that you cannot control. Follow a reducing regime that includes foods that you enjoy in the proper portions.
ONCE YOU REACH YOUR GOAL WEIGHT, THE SCALE CAN BECOME YOUR BEST FRIEND IF YOU 'LISTEN TO LOUISE'.
