IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ORDER AND HOW MUCH OF IT THAT YOU EAT
I will begin this post with a little scenario. Two ladies go to a lovely steak house for dinner and they are both on a diet. The one who I will name 'Gladys Not So Glad' looks over the menu and decides that since she has been working so hard to lose 20 pounds, she owes it to herself to splurge once in a while and order whatever she wants to.
The other lady who I will name 'Polly The Planner' is thrilled with her 18 pound loss and knows that she has ruined diets from time to time and has made up her mind that she is not going to make the same mistakes that she did in the past.
GLADYS NOT SO GLAD
The waiter puts a basket of rolls on the table and she has 2 with plenty of butter.
2 rolls and butter...450 calories
8 ounces of prime ribs (which were fatty)...800
1 large baked potato (heavy on butter)...500
Salad with dressing...300
Apple Crisp ala mode...500

When she came home she treated herself to a 100 calorie
ice cream sandwich.
