THE TIGHT SHOE
There was an old lady who lived in a shoe,
And you know what happened to her, don't you?
She ate too much broth and far too much bread,
And that's why the lady has a middle-age spread!
ELEVENTH COMMANDMENT
Thou shalt not steal
An extra meal
For, if thou dost
Thy figure must
Become, without a doubt,
Robust.
I MAY LEARN
I think that I shall never see,
A diet tailored just for me,
One that lets a chocolate cake,
Contribute to my tummy-ache.
Or gives me a license to indulge,
In all the things that make me bulge.
Verses are made by fools like me,
But diets need some mastery.
Note* These poems are taken from a book that I self published.
