
THEY WERE MY FAVORITE BRAND
Years ago, if they were any brand, I would have eaten them all. The seven grandchildren were spending the night and I filled the house with many different snacks. I forgot to put the large bag of Cape Cod potato chips on the table for them.
I went out for lunch today and just ate a half of a sandwich and a little coleslaw. Later in the afternoon I opened the bag of potato chips and put about 10 of them on a plate. That is the way a person with a normal appetite eats, but before Diet Masters I would have devoured several as I was opening the bag..Then I would have counted out about 20 chips and put the sealed bag away and promise my 'weak self' that I would not eat any more. After that I would continually visit the half empty bag of potato chips. If you are grinning and realize that you have a similar problem...do some thinking about it NOW. Start by writing everything down that you eat and start talking to yourself. "IF LOUISE COULD DO IT, I CAN LEARN MODERATION ALSO. I AM GOING TO WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING THAT I PUT IN MY MOUTH FOR A WEEK. IF I LOSE WEIGHT EATING THIS WAY, I AM GOING TO FOLLOW IT FOR A MONTH AND MAYBE LIVE THIS WAY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE."
